ENVELOP receives grant support from Harmony
Envelop, a cross-chain NFT protocol, is pleased to announce that Harmony, the next generation sharding-based blockchain that is fully scalable, provably secure, and energy-efficient, became a financial supporter of wNFT technology, qualifying it for a $50K Testnet Launch grant.
“Testnet Launch” means launching a feature-complete product on Harmony Testnet.
Harmony is driving blockchain adoption by building bridges to all networks. It offers a $300M supporting fund on Bounties, Grants, and DAOs to encourage a Harmony open development. The thesis of the ecosystem fund calls to Build, Play, and Talk, targeted at developers and creatives towards the impact. Envelop became one of the projects Harmony is interested in being built on its Testnet.
Envelop’s long-term aim is cross-chain tokenization of payment channels (rollups) to intensify unused liquidity that will lead further to the world’s biggest market — derivatives. For now, as the first step, Envelop is launching a feature-complete ENVELOP (NIFTSY) on the Harmony testnet, forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multi-sig, and launching ENVELOP (NIFTSY) on the Harmony mainnet with the audit.
“We are honored to be appreciated by the Harmony team and looking forward to collaborating. What a wonderful start to the year it is!” says Alexander Shedogubov, the CEO of Envelop.
“Approved for $50K Launch grant. Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing this built out with the first milestone for a Testnet Launch built on Harmony”, says Harmony Official.
ENVELOP is a flexible cross-chain toolset that gives any NFT new functionality (economic set-up, on-chain royalties, rental mechanism, time/value/event-locks), scoring, and anti-fraud system. ENVELOP features are easily implemented in GameFi, Marketplaces, Art, Metaverses, and non-pledge NFT-rentals.
