Super special edition #RedEnvelop wrapped NFT has launched, the platform revealed
Envelop, a cross-chain NFT protocol, is thrilled to announce the launch of the special edition #RedEnvelop wrapped NFT. The #RedEnvelop NFTs will be time-locked, permitting receivers to unwrap them only after February 1st, 2022, at 00:01 UTC+8. A RED Envelop NFT contains USDT, the original NFT, and an opportunity to deposit any number of digital assets inside. The wNFT can be purchased at Red ENVELOP wNFT Collection.

Combining ancient traditions and innovations of technology in one place, Envelop introduced a solution that aims to connect relatives and friends who are forced to celebrate from a distance due to Covid-19. Following the Chinese tradition to give red envelopes as presents for lunar Chinese New Year, the ENVELOP team, which at the early stages was supported by various funds from China, decided to come up with the special edition wNFTs series.
A wNFT (wrapped NFT) is an upgraded NFT with expanded functionality such as economic set-up, on-chain royalties, rental mechanism, time/value/event-locks, protection of devaluation, and anti-fraud system. There are numerous competitive advantages to wNFT technology. Thanks to this format, NFTs wrapped into collateral can be given without worrying about a possible dump of its tokens (ERC/BEP-20) and can define a preferred timelock setup. In the case of the #RedEnvelops, the timelock setup will permit the receivers to only unwrap them after February 1st, 2022, at 00:01 UTC+8, making it a perfect digital present for the lunar New Year celebration.
The collection offers three types of wNFTs — Regular, Special, Super. A RED Envelop NFT contains USDT, the original NFT, and an opportunity to deposit any number of digital assets inside.
“Storytelling renaissance is happening right now, particularly with stories about getting together. We’re talking digital, traditional, with the connection. It’s no wonder these presents will tickle your bone and then warm your heart up all over again,” says Alexander Shedogubov, the CEO of Envelop
